On 25-26 April 2024 one of the planned HarSval workshops was held in the Center for Scientific Information and Academic Library (CINiBA) in Katowice.
The workshops were addressed with experts in communication and marketing of science and innovations, scientific journalists, experts in political sciences with expertise in law-making/policy-making based on scientific/expert knowledge, science diplomacy, NGOs and other structures specializing in science/knowledge communication and dissemination to the general public.
The main organizer of the workshops: “Scientists as Knowledge Brokers and Better Science Management as a Synergy Effect of the Polish-Norwegian Collaboration” was Dr. Monika Szkarłat (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin). The workshop discussion was also moderated by Dr. Katarzyna Mojska (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin) and Dagmara Bożek (Institute of Geophysics Polish Academy of Sciences).
