The Harsval project includes also strengthening the mobility of scientists between Polish and Norwegian entities. The outcome will be the integration of the Polish and Norwegian scientific communities, increased cohesion through increased competence and skills, and the creation of new international scientific initiatives based on Polish-Norwegian consortia to solve complex research challenges.
More information about the mobility programme you can found in WP2.
We received a report about the internship to Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) from Dr. Agnieszka Janik from Institute of Pedagogy, University of Wroclaw. We invite you to enjoy:
“From 17-21.06.24r I completed a scientific internship at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). The topics of the research activities undertaken included the Norwegian tradition of Friluftsliv, meaning outdoor education. During my internship, I visited not only the university campus in Sogndal and Bergen, but also made various field visits to Jostedalsbreen and Breheimen National Parks to observe firsthand the practice of Friluftsliv, a key element of Norwegian culture and education. Especially interesting was a visit to the Glacier Museum “Norsk Bremuseum & Ulltveit-Moe senter for klimaviten,” where we discussed how the Center’s staff implement outdoor education, and gained insights into effective methods for engaging younger students in educational activities, identifying innovative tools and methods used to build environmental sustainability awareness.”
