The Harsval project includes also strengthening the mobility of scientists between Polish and Norwegian entities. The outcome will be the integration of the Polish and Norwegian scientific communities, increased cohesion through increased competence and skills, and the creation of new international scientific initiatives based on Polish-Norwegian consortia to solve complex research challenges.
More information about the mobility programme you can found in WP2.
We received a report about the internship to UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø from Dr. Jakub Przybył (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań).
We invite you to enjoy:
“HarSval funds enabled me to visit UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø and get feedback on my research from world-class experts at the Center for Language, Brain and Learning (C-LaBL). The projects? An exploration of the Impostor Phenomenon in Norwegian learners of English and an experimental study of the foreign language effect on decision making.
I got great support in the initial stage of my foreign language effect project —Dr. Natalia Mitrofanova, and Dr. Vincent DeLuca from UiT gave me plenty of advice on the rationale of the study, its design, challenges involved in creating the stimuli, and prospects of including EEG in further research.
I also started cooperating with Dr. May Olaug Horerak from NORCE, and involved her in a multinational study of the Impostor Phenomenon in foreign language learning. At the same time, I also collected data and delivered a guest lecture to students of UiT. The project now involves EFL learners from Austria, Luxembourg, Norway, and Poland. We are expecting interesting insights across the countries!”
