The Harsval project includes also strengthening the mobility of scientists between Polish and Norwegian entities. The outcome will be the integration of the Polish and Norwegian scientific communities, increased cohesion through increased competence and skills, and the creation of new international scientific initiatives based on Polish-Norwegian consortia to solve complex research challenges.
More information about the mobility programme you can found in WP2.
We received a report about the internship to Geomorphological Field Laboratory, Selbustrand, Norway from Dr. Eliza Płaczkowska (The Institute of Geological Sciences at the University of Wrocław).
We invite you to enjoy:
“Dr. Eliza Płaczkowska undertook a two-week research visit to the Geomorphological Field Laboratory (GFL) in Selbustrand, Norway, where she collaborated with two internationally renowned geomorphologists, Dr. Katja Laute and Dr. Achim A. Beylich. Her research focused on assessing the effects of boreal forest clear-cutting on surface water chemistry. This involved measuring stream water quality and collecting samples for laboratory analysis to determine the concentration of key ions. The study served as a preliminary investigation, laying the groundwork for a future scientific project in collaboration with GFL researchers. The ultimate goal is to establish a long-term Polish-Norwegian research partnership in this field.”
