The Harsval project includes also strengthening the mobility of scientists between Polish and Norwegian entities. The outcome will be the integration of the Polish and Norwegian scientific communities, increased cohesion through increased competence and skills, and the creation of new international scientific initiatives based on Polish-Norwegian consortia to solve complex research challenges.
More information about the mobility programme you can found in WP2.
We received a report about the internship to University of Oslo from Dr. Agnieszka Kalinowska (Gdańsk University of Technology).
We invite you to enjoy:
“The aim of the internship was to improve scientific competences and skills in metagenomics and analysis of bacterial and eukaryotic communities in snow samples collected within the WetSnowEx project on Svalbard. The stay at the University in Oslo resulted in the establishment of cooperation between partners from Poland and Norway, exchange of experiences and proposals for joint scientific projects, and the results obtained as a final result of the exchange will contribute to strengthening the interpretation potential of the results obtained by other team members and to a deeper understanding of the functioning of microbial communities in polar environments.”
