The Harsval project includes also strengthening the mobility of scientists between Polish and Norwegian entities. The outcome will be the integration of the Polish and Norwegian scientific communities, increased cohesion through increased competence and skills, and the creation of new international scientific initiatives based on Polish-Norwegian consortia to solve complex research challenges.

“From January 11 to 25, as part of the project HarSval Bilateral initiative aiming at Harmonisation of the Svalbard cooperation, Dr. Joanna Morawska undertook a research internship at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, School of Business.
The purpose of the visit was to develop a plan for joint research and projects concerning the role and significance of universities in creating and supporting (digital) social innovations. On behalf of the Norwegian university, the internship was supervised by Prof. Ridvan Cinar and Dr. Saeed Moghadam Saman. Thanks to this supprot we established a plan for a long-term cooperation and defined scope of the joint research and scientific agenda for the upcoming months.
The trip was funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 and the EEA Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021.”
