As part of the HarSval project, one-day workshops are planned for Polish institutions involved in polar research. The workshops aim to promote awareness of optimal data management in accordance with FAIR principles and provide an introduction to topics such as metadata management and the organization of thematic data resources.

The topics of the one-day workshop include:

  • Optimal data management in accordance with FAIR principles
  • Hands-on training using example datasets and their descriptions in a central data repository (Polish Polar Data Repository)
  • Discussion – questions and answers

The workshops are planned to take place until the end of January. The current schedule is as follows:
